The MSc recruitment team will be travelling to Athens for their annual Masterclass and networking reception. Prospective Cass students and staff will be in attendance, and the team would be delighted to have MSc alumni join the event.
Equity Mutual Funds : What do we have to look out for?
In the current super low interest rate environment investors are looking for better investment opportunities. Over the last few year stock markets in developed countries have done well and investments in equity mutual funds could be an attractive possibility. But investing in stock markets also bears greater risk. With hundreds and sometimes thousands of funds to choose from what should investors look out for? This Masterclass provides an overview of the mutual fund industry including fee structure, discusses issues such as how should the performance of mutual funds be measured? Can the performance be explained by luck or skill? And what about the persistence of mutual fund performance?
The Masterclass will be followed by drinks and the chance for you to network with locally based Cass alumni. Refreshments will be provided.
