The Alumni Relations Team and the US Alumni Board are delighted to invite all alumni of City, University of London to an exclusive evening with Sandra Navidi, author of ‘SuperHubs: How the Financial Elite and Their Networks Rule our World’. Her book is recommended by Former US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, is a silver medal winner in the Axiom Business Book Awards 2018 and Bloomberg's Best Book of the Year.
This event will be hosted at alumnus Jeremy White’s (Master of Business Administration, 1985) apartment in New York.
Combining an insider's knowledge with principles of network science, Sandra Navidi offers a startling new perspective on how the financial system really operates. In ‘SuperHubs’, Sandra reveals what happens at the exclusive, invitation-only platforms - The World Economic Forum in Davos, the meetings of the International Monetary Fund, think-tank gatherings, power lunches, charity events, and private parties.
The evening will provide you behind-the-scenes look at the global financial system and the powerful personal networks through which it is run. You will also have a chance to meet fellow alumni and staff from City, University of London.
Beverages and canapés will be served throughout the event. Dress code for the event is smart casual.
