Have your say on the University's new name

Dear ,

You may be aware that City, University of London and St George’s, University of London are looking to merge to form a new multi-faculty, multi-site institution.

The combination of St George’s, a world-leading medical school, and a university of City’s capability and unique focus will deliver excellence in practice and professionalism within and across traditional disciplinary boundaries in teaching and research. This development will enhance City’s distinctiveness, accelerate our strategy for growth and put us in a stronger and more resilient position to face future challenges.

The proposed new name for the merged institution is ‘City St George’s, University of London’.

We are working with independent research agency Red Brick Research to gather feedback on the new name, and as a valued member of our alumni network, we would like to invite you to share your thoughts.

Please complete our short survey using the link below.

The survey should take around five minutes to complete, and your contributions are anonymous. As a thank you for your input, one randomly selected respondent will receive £200 and three others will receive £50 (x2) - £100 (x1). It could be you!

We are only running this survey for a limited time, so please don't miss this chance to make your voice heard.

Thank you.

Best wishes,
Alumni & Supporter Relations Team
