MBA Alumni Dinner at The Tower of London

This event marks the launch of a new series of MBA alumni events. The exclusive sit-down three-course dinner will be provided by the caterers for the royal banquets and held at the Officers' Mess, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers at the Tower of London. This venue is usually closed to the public. Before dinner you will embark on a private tour of parts of the Tower (not including the Crown Jewels) and afterwards you will experience the Ceremony of the Keys, a 700-year-old tradition.

 

Colonel James Skelton MBE

James is an experienced military leader who was awarded an MBE by the Queen in 2014 for services to leadership. His superior leadership skills were recognised over a number of operational tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, specifically his ability to lead in high-pressure environments and his ability to engage with and lead hostile indigenous communities.James has been selected to command one of the British Army’s elite fighting units and is currently responsible for training newly promoted Major’s ensuring that they have the leadership and management skills to become effective military commanders. In his current role James has been at the forefront of inculcating values based leadership throughout the Army and is internationally recognised as a thought leader on leadership within the military.The subject of James’ talk will be: ‘Values Based Leadership – Doing the right thing on a difficult day when no one is watching’.
