Description

City University would like to provide you with the opportunity to meet fellow alumni working in Advertising, PR and Communications, whilst also giving current students a unique opportunity to meet alumni and develop their networking skills. Your careers insights can make all the difference to students struggling to identify the right career for them or to those applying to work in your field. This event will be a great opportunity to help students make more informed career choices well as networking with other alumni working in the sector.

Part 1: Networking bingo game
Students will be encouraged to make their way around the room, speak to as many alumni as possible and complete their bingo cards by finding alumni who relate to the bullet points on the cards.
Part 2: Drinks and networking reception.
You are encouraged to speak to some students as well as other alumni. Students are likely to ask questions about an employer’s/alumnus':
•           Career-path: how did you get where you are today?
•           Current role and examples of projects
•           Typical day or week in the office
•           The best aspects of your job
•           Top tips for current students who want to get where you are today.
