The Alumni Relations Team and the Department of Sociology at City, University of London are delighted to invite all Media and Communications alumni to a panel discussion on 11th April focused on ‘The Rise of SVoD Platforms: Evolution or Revolution?’. The presentations will be followed by a networking reception.
The evening will give you an opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, current students and staff members and participate in an engaging panel discussion. You are very welcome to bring a guest.
Beverages and canapés will be served throughout the evening.

Panellist Bios
Matteo Tiranti is a Senior Consultant, who joined Oliver & Ohlbaum Associates in 2015, having previously worked for Deloitte Consulting in the Automotive sector. At O&O, Matteo has worked on a wide range of strategy projects for UK and European broadcasters, and on advanced consumer research assignments to define pricing and new product launch strategies. Matteo has a BSc in Business Administration from the University of Turin, and holds masters in Management from ESCP Europe in Paris and City, University of London.
Daniel Gadher is a Senior Analyst at Ampere Analysis, an analyst firm that specializes in pay & multiscreen TV and next-generation content distribution. At Ampere, Daniel works on market data, consumer research, and consulting projects examining TV and Media markets, and has written a number of industry reports on emerging trends such as an examination of Sky’s tech start-up investment strategy, an assessment of the financial health of key media companies and an analysis of Altice’s ascent in global pay TV.
Simon Murray is Principal Analyst at Digital TV Research. Simon founded Digital TV Research in January 2011. He has been covering international media developments since 1988, having previously worked for Saatchi & Saatchi, Kagan World Media, Baskerville Communications and Informa Telecoms and Media.
