We are pleased to invite alumni to a Masterclass delivered by Dr Dirk Nitzsche: Saving for the future:Should we follow funds or managers?

Does it pay to follow star fund managers? With thousands of fund managers and thousands of funds available for investors to choose from successful fund managers are often celebrated by the industry and followed by millions of investors.

This Masterclass looks at the question of whether investors should invest their money with funds who employ star fund managers. Focusing on US equity mutual funds we consider statistical issues such as luck and skill in our analysis as well as management fees. While analysing this question, you will be able to enjoy the learning experience that current students do and network with fellow attendees.
