Alumni Card

Who needs an alumni card?

You need an alumni card if you would like to access the Cass Business School main building at Bunhill Row or other University buildings. You will need your alumni card if you would like to use the libraries at Cass or City, University of London. You also need to show it in conjunction with your Royal Palaces voucher to gain entry for free to selected Royal Palaces.

What is an alumni card for?

It gives you access to the University, the Cass and City libraries (note that borrowing items requires an annual subscription), and CityBar, and with your Royal Palaces voucher to gain entry for free to selected Royal Palaces.

You can also get a discount at the CitySport facility on Goswell Road. For example, annual membership costs £360 instead of £460 for the public.

How long does it take to receive an alumni card?

Please allow up to five working days to have your alumni card delivered to your home address. Alternatively, you can request to collect it from the main reception at 106 Bunhill Row.

Does my alumni card have an expiry date?

Your alumni card will expire in three years from the date of issue, at which point you will need to contact us to request a new one.

Library and Database Access

Can I access the Cass or City libraries after graduation?

Yes, you just need an alumni card -  click here to complete this form. This is for reference access only, if you want to borrow books you will need to arrange this at the library - there is a charge for this service.

Which databases can I access?

You have online remote access to Business Source Premier (Alumni Edition), Emerald, JSTOR and Refworks. In addition, you have walk-in access to Bloomberg, Eikon and Marketline at the Cass Business School library with your alumni card. Note that there are limited terminals for this, and you may need to book or wait.

Email Access

Can I keep my email address after graduation?

If you have graduated from 2013 onwards you get to keep your email address for life. More information is here. You can access the email client via the "Email" tab on the City homepage or by clicking here.

Contacting Fellow Alumni

How can I contact alumni in ‘x’ industry/’x’ company/’x’ country?

Our new Cass Community is an online private networking site that allows alumni to search and contact each other directly without giving out personal information. Sign-up can be done using your LinkedIn login and your profile can pull through instantly.

Due to the Data Protection Act 1998, we do not give out any personal information of our alumni. However, we are happy to contact alumni on your behalf and ask them to contact you. Please email with details of the names and graduation years, or courses and graduation years and we will be able to help.

We also suggest that you become a member of our official Cass Alumni LinkedIn group where you can connect with fellow alumni via private message once you have been accepted into the group.

I am a prospective student and I would like to speak with alumni from a selected programme and/or country for advice. How can I get in touch with your alumni?

We encourage you to visit our Cass International Alumni groups web page. Here, you can find the contact information for Cass Alumni Ambassadors worldwide who have agreed to help the school and would be more than happy to speak with you further.


How do I access Cass Careers Online?

You will need to register to access our online careers management tool, Cass Careers Online. Once registered, you can search for current vacancies, track your applications, view company profiles and information and build your CV with our step-by-step guide. 

How do I get involved with Cass Careers?

Cass Careers invite all alumni to engage with us, whether to present your company, a skills workshop or advise on a one-to-one basis. You can also advertise jobs, internships and MBA research projects. Contact the Careers Team on +44 (0) 20 7040 5255 or email to find out more.

How do I become a mentor?

We currently only have opportunities open for MBA and EMBA alumni. Please email if you are interested in participating.

Course Information

How can I get a copy of my transcript?

To order copies of your final transcript, you need to contact the Examinations Office for your course. 

 MSc: Please download this form and then either email it to, post to Cass Business School, Examinations Office, 106 Bunhill Row, London EC1Y 8TZ, UK or fax to 020 7040 8699.

How can I get a new  Degree Certificate?

Can I get a copy of my Certificate certified?

We can authenticate photocopies of certificates for you. Please send us the copies of your certificate (we don't need to see the original) and we will stamp them to confirm that they are true copies of an original document, and sign them on behalf of the Academic Registrar.

Please scan (pdf. format) and email your original certificate to us at, together with your postal address and we will produce and post an authenticated copy for you.

There is no charge for this service and we do not require the original certificate.
