You have free online access to Business Source Premier (Alumni Edition) and Refworks. For more information and to access the resources see our library page.

Alumni graduating after the accession to the University of London (September 2016) have access to the Library at Senate House for private study and non-commercial research only.

You must pay the alumni membership rate and show your University of London degree certificate and a valid alumni card when applying to the Library for the first time. Read more.

Even after you graduate, we can continue to support you on your career journey. Postgraduate alumni can access Bayes Careers Online; Take advantage of their online careers tools such as specialist careers websites, psychometric tests and careers advice videos. Bayes Careers Online also enables you to search for current vacancies, track your applications, and read recruiter profiles in the company directory.

You will need to register with Bayes Careers Online and the careers team will be in touch with a password after verifying your credentials. You can contact Careers directly on +44 (0)20 7040 5255 or by email on bayescareersonline@city.ac.uk.

Undergraduate alumni can register instead at careershub.city.ac.uk, and contact the Careers & Employability team on careers@city.ac.uk

You are also welcome to come to the Careers events to develop and update your skills in workshops and connect with other professionals.

Many alumni also continue engaging with Careers by representing their company or advertising jobs to students. To register as an employer and post vacancies on the undergraduate jobs board, as well as to chat about various opportunities to visit campus, contact the Careers & Employability team on careers@city.ac.uk; for the postgraduate jobs board, contact bayescareersonline@city.ac.uk.

The Alumni Card for graduates of City and has a range of benefits

It gives you access to:

• Northampton Square Library
• Bayes Learning Resource Centre
• CitySport, which will allow you to have a discounted membership.

The Alumni Card expires after three years’ time from the date of issue.

You can apply for an alumni card by completing this form.

If you have lost your card within the three-year issue period, you can request a new one by also completing the form above.

Please note that the Alumni Cards are for collection only. Cards can be collected from the Security Office at Northampton Square or Bunhill Row. Please read The Alumni Card terms and conditions.

If you graduated from 2013 onwards, alumni can continue to use their Bayes alumni email account (e.g. joe.bloggs@bayes.city.ac.uk). The email client can be accessed by clicking here.

If you have forgotten and wish to retrieve your username and/or password, please contact the IT Service Desk on +44 (0)20 7040 8181 or by completing the online form. You will need to select the “Log an Issue (as a guest)” option in order to contact IT.

NB: Please note that as part of City’s data and system security, alumni are required to update their  alumni email account password at least once every 12 months. If a password hasn’t been updated during this period, it will then expire.

Three months after the password expires, IT Services will disable and lock the account; if alumni do not contact IT Services to re-enable their account, after a further three months, the account will be deleted entirely. This includes all emails, attachments and other data held in the account, which cannot be recovered after deletion.

MSc alumni are able to take one free elective as an observer after successful completion of your course. The elective period runs from May to July and alumni are able to book from 1st April onwards. Note that current students have priority. For more information and to book your place please contact our MSc Electives department.

MBA alumni are entitled to one free elective per year after you have successfully completed. Please contact Benedicte Mornet for more information and to book your elective. View the 2023 elective timetable here.

Undergraduate and MSc alumni are entitled to a 10% discount on the MBA courses. The application fee of £100 is also waived.

Graduates of City, University of London are entitled to a 20% discount on the fees of an MSc course at Bayes Business School.

The City Launch Lab is an incubation space for Bayes and City alumni and student entrepreneurs. It offers a three month accelerator programme to kick-start you business and then for a further nine months, you can continue to access the Launch Lab to develop your business. The City Community Legal Advice Centre is a free, confidential, Lawworks, legal advice service offering advice to members of the public on a wide range of legal issues. It offers free legal advice on certain areas of law to people who are not eligible for legal aid and cannot afford to pay.

You can get a discount at the CitySport facility on Goswell Road. For example, annual membership costs £360 instead of £460 for the public.
